Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. stocks fluctuated over the course of the trading session on Friday but managed to end the day significantly higher. With the higher close on the day the major averages regained some ground following a twoday selloff. The Dow Jones jumped 1.2 percent to 25339 and the Nasdaq soared 2.3 percent to 7496.

U.K. shares bounced back on Friday tracking a recovery elsewhere in Asia and Europe as trade tensions eased and strong Chinese exports data helped oil prices to rebound from twoweek lows. The British pound slipped ahead of next weeks EU summit. The benchmark FTSE 100 was up 0.80 percent at 7062.

On domestic front Indian shares rebounded on Friday to post their biggest singleday intraday gain in over two years as a recovery in rupee and tumbling oil prices helped ease investors concerns surrounding inflation and the twin deficits. The BSE Sensex was up by 2.2% to 34733.
