Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
US stocks staged a few recovery attempts over the course of the trading session on Friday. The major averages rallied going into the close of trading but still ended the day modestly lower. The Dow slid 0.2 percent to 25450 and the Nasdaq fell 0.1 percent to 7408.
U.K. stocks ended notably lower on Friday with the latest batch of economic data from the U.S. and China raising concerns about the global economy. The FTSE 100 was down by 0.7% to 7104.
On domestic front Indian shares fell modestly on Friday amid weak global cues as investors fretted about slowing global growth. The benchmark BSE Sensex was down by 0.2% to 36671 at the end of trading session.
