Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 07 May, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 500 points or 0.68% at 73,392, while the Nifty-50 was down around 158 points or 0.70% at 22,285. About 1,138 shares have advanced; 2,440 declined and 144 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Nestle India Ltd and Kotak Mahindra Bank while the top Sensex losers were HCL Technologies Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and JSW Steel Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower with the BSE Mid-cap index down 1.22% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.18%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Emami Ltd and Gillette India Ltd. In contrast, Allsec Technologies Ltd and Kokuyo Camlin Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Telecommunication Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index gained by 1.10%, up by Jyothy Labs Ltd and Dabur India Ltd while the BSE Telecommunication Index is down by 1.75% dragged by Vodafone Idea Ltd and Indus Tower Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Marico Ltd, Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd and CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd.
