History of Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited (AACL)
Incorporated in 1979, Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited (AACL) is involved in the manufacturing of Aliphatic Amines, Amine Derivatives and Specialty Amines and supplies them to various industries, including pharmaceutical, water treatment, agrochemical, rubber chemical, etc.
In 1981, the company released its IPO and was listed on the stock exchanges. In the next year, i.e., in 1982, the company commissioned its first aliphatic amine plant at Patalganga, which was expanded in 1986. In 1992, Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited’s second plant was established, which was followed by the establishment of three multi-purpose plants in 1996. In 2000, the company’s first hydrogen and aliphatic amine plant was commissioned. Alkyl Amines Chemicals established four powder plants between 2003 and 2019. In 2021, they commissioned a Specialty amine plant, followed by another Hydrogen plant, the DEK plant and a Captive solar power plant in 2022.
As of March 2023, Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited has 3 manufacturing plants and 2 solar power plants in India located at Gujarat and Patalganga. They cater to 18 states across the country and 20 countries across the globe. Their chemical products are supplied to various industries all over the world.
