Indian markets are likely to open negative tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. stocks fluctuated over the course of the trading session on Thursday Following the rally seen in the previous session. The major averages ended the day on opposite sides of the unchanged line. While Dow Jones crept up by 0.1% to 26191 the Nasdaq fell by 0.5 percent to 7531.

U.K. shares eked out modest gains yesterday to extend gains from the previous session as the U.S. election uncertainty faded in the rearview mirror Chinese trade data topped forecasts and investors turned their attention to a monetary policy announcement from the Federal Reserve due later in the day. The benchmark FTSE 100 moved up by 0.3% to close at 7138.
