Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
The US stocks saw some further upside over the course of the session. With the upward move on the day the techheavy Nasdaq ended the session at a new record closing high. The Dow climbed 0.6 percent to 28745 and the Nasdaq advanced 0.7 percent to 9129.
UK stocks edged lower on Wednesday amid worries that U.S.Iran tensions may escalate. The benchmark FTSE 100 was ended down by 0.5 percent flat at 7536.
On domestic front Indian shares edged lower on Wednesday amid worries that U.S.Iran tensions may escalate. The benchmark BSE Sensex was ended down by 0.1 percent to 40818.
