ndian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
Stocks went on a rollercoaster ride during the trading session on Friday before ending the day sharply higher. With the strong upward move on the day the major averages partly offset the steep drop seen over the three previous sessions. For the first week of March the major averages turned in a starkly mixed performance. The Dow jumped 1.9 percent to 31496 and the Nasdaq also shown upward movement by 1.5 percent to 12920.
