Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
The US stocks moved mostly higher during trading on Wednesday with the Dow showing a particularly strong upward move on the day. The Dow jumped to its best closing level in nearly two months while the Nasdaq reached another new record closing high. The Dow climbed 1.1 percent to 27201 and the Nasdaq rose 0.5 percent to 10998.
UK stocks rose on Wednesday after a survey showed the U.K.s services sector emerged from the doldrums of the coronavirus crisis and expanded at its fastest pace since 2015. The FTSE 100 was up by 1.1 percent to 6103.
On domestic front Indian shares gave up early gains to end on a flat note Wednesday as investors booked profits in recent outperformers. The benchmark BSE Sensex was down by 0.1 percent to 37663.
