Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

The US stocks moved sharply higher over the course of the trading session on Friday as traders reacted to much better than expected U.S. jobs data. With the strong upward moves the Nasdaq and the SP 500 reached new record closing highs. The Dow surged up by 1.1 percent to 27347 and the Nasdaq soared by 1.1 percent to 8386.

The UK stocks rose on Friday with resource stocks pacing the gainers after a private survey showed October factory activity in China expanded at its quickest pace since February 2017 helping offset renewed concerns over the potential for a longterm trade deal between the United States and China. The FTSE 100 was up by 0.4 percent to 7274.
