Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US stocks failed to sustain an initial move to the upside and moved modestly lower over the course of the trading session on Tuesday. With the drop on the day the major averages pulled back off Mondays record closing highs. The Dow dipped 0.2 percent to 30336 and the Nasdaq fell 0.4 percent to 12850.

U.K. stocks ended higher on Tuesday extending recent gains thanks to positive developments on U.S. stimulus and postBrext trade deal fronts. The benchmark FTSE 100 surged by 1.6 per cent to 6603.

Indian shares ended on a high note on Tuesday extending gains to a fifth straight session as investors continued to pick up shares on positive global cues. The benchmark SP BSE Sensex rose by 0.5 percent to 47613.
