Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. stocks moved mostly higher over the course of the trading session yesterday. The Nasdaq and the SP 500 climbed to new record closing highs while the Dow reached its best closing level in nearly seven months. The Dow Jones edged up 0.2% to 26124 and the Nasdaq surged by 1% to 8110.

UK stocks fell slightly yesterday as the initial enthusiasm over the U.S.Mexico trade deal fizzled out and investors shifted focus to the ongoing Brexit negotiations between the U.K. and the European Union. The FTSE 100 was down 0.7% to 7563

On domestic front Indian stocks snapped their winning run to end notably lower on Wednesday as the rupee probed a fresh record low of 70.58 against the dollar amid foreign fund outflows. The BSE Sensex was down by 0.4% to 38723.
