Indian shares may open lower today following SGX Nifty.
US stocks pulled back sharply during trading on Friday. The major averages all moved to the downside on the day with the techheavy Nasdaq showing a particularly steep drop. The Dow fell by 0.6 percent to 26502 and the Nasdaq tumbled by 2.5 percent to 10911.
U.K. stocks rose slightly on Friday as the pounded surrendered early modest gains on data showing that British business confidence has fallen for the first time in five months. The benchmark FTSE 100 flat for the day and traded at 5582.
Indian shares fell for a third day running on Friday tracking weak global markets as investors continued to fret over surging Covid19 cases and upcoming U.S. presidential election. The benchmark SP BSE Sensex down by 0.4 percent to 39614.
