Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. stocks turned in a relatively lackluster performance during the trading. Despite the choppy trading the Nasdaq and the SP 500 crept up to new record closing highs. The Dow Jones edged up 0.1% to 26064 and the Nasdaq was up by 0.2% to 8030.

UK stocks rose on Tuesday as local markets played catch up with a global rally the previous day after the United States and Mexico struck a trade agreement putting pressure on Canada to preserve a threenation pact. The FTSE 100 was up 0.4% to 7606

On domestic front Indian stocks extended their record winning streak to reach fresh highs during the last trading session as the U.S.Mexico trade deal helped boost optimism for an easing of global trade tensions which have been building up for months now. The BSE Sensex climbed up by 0.6% to 38896.
