Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US stocks moved mostly higher over the course of the trading session on Thursday although the Dow ended the day modestly lower amid a steep drop by shares of Boeing (BA). The Dow edged down less than a tenth of a percent to 26526 while the Nasdaq climbed 0.7 percent to 7967.

U.K. stocks held steady on Thursday as investors pinned hopes for progress in U.S.China trade talks at the G20 summit and Boris Johnson the favourite to succeed U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May said that the chances of Britain leaving the European Union without a deal are a milliontoone. The FTSE 100 moved down by 0.1 percent to 7410.

On domestic front Indian shares ended a choppy session marginally lower on Thursday the last day of the June Futures Options (FO) contracts. The benchmark BSE Sensex ended down by 0.01 percent to 39586.
