Indian markets are likely to open on a negative note considering global cues.
After a notable strength in the previous week the US stocks moved to the downside on Monday. The techheavy Nasdaq also pulled back further from its earlier closing. The Dow NASDAQ and SP 500 all slid 0.9 percent each due to weakness in the overseas markets as well as profit booking. Trading activity remained somewhat subdued however with traders looking ahead to tonights highly anticipated presidential debate.
The U.K. stocks dropped on Monday with the week starting off on riskaverse footing with energy shares under pressure as oil producers gather for industry talks. The FTSE 100 index fell 1.3% setting negative tone for the week. Oil shares declined over oil producers meet in this week. The weeks downbeat start also came in as KPMG survey that showed more than threequarters of CEOs at U.K. major corporations are considering moving their headquarters or operations out of Britain following the U.
