Indian markets are likely to open Positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
Following the strong upward move seen in the previous session stocks turned in a mixed performance during trading on Wednesday. The Nasdaq climbed to a new record closing high while the Dow and the SP 500 gave back some ground. The Dow down by 0.5% percent to 29872 and the Nasdaq up by 0.50 percent to 12094.
U.K. stocks fall on Tuesday as investors reacted to more positive news on the vaccine front and watched the status of trade negotiations between the U.K. and the European Union. The benchmark FTSE 100 down by 0.6 per cent to 6392.
The Indian stock market started off on a high note on Wednesday and the key indices hit fresh record highs but eventually ended in the red as investors chose to take profits. The benchmark SP BSE Sensex down by 1.6% percent to 43828.
