Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. stocks pulled back near the unchanged line in afternoon trading on Friday before closing slightly lower. The major averages added to the losses posted in the previous session. The Dow Jones fell by 0.1% to 25058 and the Nasdaq was down by 0.1% at 7820.

U.K. stocks were marginally higher on Friday as the pound continued to slide on concerns a hard Brexit is nearing closer. The benchmark FTSE 100 was up by 0.2% to 7694.

On domestic front Indian shares gained ground on Friday even as the rupee hit a fresh record low ahead of a noconfidence vote against Prime Minister Narendra Modis government. The BSE Sensex was up by 0.4% to 36496.
