Indian markets are likely to open negative tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US Stocks continued to show a lack of direction over the course of the trading day. The major averages once again spent the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line. The Dow climbed 0.4 percent to a sixmonth closing high of 26559 and inched up less than a tenth of a percent to 7998.

U.K. markets fell on Thursday as investors adopted a cautious stance before the Easter weekend. FTSE 100 was down by 0.31 percent at 7448

On domestic front Indian shares snapped a fourday winning streak on Thursday as investors looked ahead to Reliance Industries earnings announcement due postmarket hours. The benchmark BSE Sensex ended the session down by 0.34 percent at 39140.
