Indian markets are likely to open on a flat note considering global cues.

Investors were reluctant to take significant positions ahead of monetary policy decisions by both the Bank of Japan and the U.S. Federal Reserve. The Biotech Index was the major gainer for the session posting a gain of 1.4%.
