Indian markets are likely to open Negative tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
After climbing to new record intraday highs early in the session stocks turned mixed over the course of the trading day on Tuesday. The Dow loses its gains while the broader Nasdaq and the SP 500 slid into negative territory. The Dow down by 0.4 percent to 31493 while the Nasdaq down 0.7 percent to 13865.
U.K. stocks slips on Thursday as Glencores upbeat trading update as well as a rise in commodity prices boosted miners. The benchmark FTSE 100 down by 1.4 percent to 6617.
Indian shares are likely to open a tad lower on friday as investors fret over rising Treasury yields on expectations of a boost in inflation from extraordinary fiscal and monetary stimulus in the United States. The downside if any may be capped by expectations of domestic growth becoming strong. The benchmark BSE Sensex was down by 0.7% at 51325.
