Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
US Stocks stocks moved mostly higher over the course of the trading day on Friday. The upward move lifted the Dow and the Nasdaq to their best closing levels in three months and the SP 500 reached a twomonth closing high. The Dow surged 444 points 1.8 percent to 25883 while the Nasdaq inched up by 0.6 percent to 7472.
U.K. markets ended higher on Friday amid optimism about U.S.China trade deal after the Chinese President Xi Jinping said talks will continue next week in Washington. The FTSE 100 was up by 0.5% to 7237.
On domestic front Indian shares fell slightly on Friday with the SP BSE Sensex closing lower for a seventh straight session weighed down by rising oil prices and mixed global cues. During the trading session the BSE Sensex fell by 0.2% to 35808.
