Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US stocks ended Fridays trading mostly lower following an early move to the downside. The major averages gave back some ground after ending the previous session in positive territory. The Dow dipped by 0.1 percent to 26090 and the Nasdaq fell by 0.5 percent to 7797.

U.K. stocks were moving lower on Friday with underwhelming Chinese industrial output data and worries of a potential military confrontation in the Middle East weighing on markets. The FTSE 100 was down by 0.3 percent to 7352.

On domestic front Indian shares fell for a third straight session on Friday with financials pacing the declines amid weak global cues as trade worries persisted and a report showed Chinas industrial output growth slowed to a more than 17year low of 5 percent in May. During the trading session benchmark BSE Sensex fell sharply by 0.7 percent 39452.
