Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. stocks fluctuated over the course of the trading session on Monday following the rebound seen last Friday. After recovering from an early move to the downside the major averages spent the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line. The Dow Jones fell by 0.4 percent to 25250 and the Nasdaq slid by 0.9 percent to 7430.

U.K. shares were little changed on Monday as investors watched Brexit developments ahead of this weeks European Union summit. The benchmark FTSE 100 was up 0.20 percent at 6991.

On domestic front Indian shares fluctuated on Monday before finishing slightly higher as earnings optimism helped investors shrug off a weakening rupee and a rebound in oil prices amid rising political tensions between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia. The BSE Sensex was up by 0.4% to 34865.
