Indian markets are likely to open Negative tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
U.S. stock benchmarks finished lower but off their intraday lows on Tuesday with
Wall Street slumping in the face of uncertainty around efforts to overhaul tax policy
and a downturn in crudeoil futures. The Dow Jones DJIA declined 0.1% to close at
23409 and The SP 500 fell 0.2% to finish at 2579. Meanwhile the NASDAQ
dipped 0.3% to end at 6738.
U.K. benchmark stock index closed with a tiny loss with miners weighing the most
after Chinese data suggested economic growth in the worlds secondlargest
economy is slowing down. The FTSE 100 index UKX fell 0.01% to end at 7414.
On domestic front shares fell modestly on Tuesday as rising crude prices as well as
domestic data revealing upward pressure on both consumer and wholesale inflation
helped spur worries over likely fiscal slippages. Indias consumer inflation quickened
