Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

The US stocks moved mostly higher during trading on Friday extending the upward
move seen over the course of the two previous sessions. With the continued
advanced the major averages once again ended the session at their best closing
levels in over a month. The Dow rose by 0.6 percent to 28587 and the Nasdaq
surged by 1.4 per cent to 11580.

UK stocks advanced on Friday as hopes that a nodeal Brexit will be avoided helped
offset uncertainty related to rising Covid19 cases and fears of broader lockdowns.
The benchmark FTSE 100 rose by 0.7 per cent to 6017.

On domestic front Indian shares rose notably on Friday to extend gains for the
seventh day running after the Reserve Bank of India left its key interest rate
unchanged pledged to continue with the accommodative stance of monetary policy
as long as necessary and announced a slew of liquidity measures to support
