Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
Following the mixed performance seen last week US markets moved mostly higher
during trading on Monday. With the upward move the Dow and the SP 500
reached new record closing highs.
The European markets ended the first session of the new trading week with mixed
results. Technology stocks continued their recent struggles while bank stocks
continued to rise after the Basel III announcement last week.
Firm global cues after the release of upbeat U.S. jobs data and progress in Brexit
talks helped Indian markets finish higher for the third day running on Monday.
