Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US stocks managed to end the day in positive territory adding to the strong gains posted last week though stocks gave back some ground over the course of the afternoon. The Dow was up by 0.3 percent to 26063 and the Nasdaq increased by 1.1 percent to 7823.

U.K. stocks moved higher on Monday as the Trump administration indefinitely suspended tariffs on all Mexican goods and data showed Chinas exports unexpectedly returned to growth in May despite higher U.S. tariffs.
The FTSE 100 was up by 0.5 percent at 7370.

On domestic front Indian shares rose for a second straight session on Monday tracking firm cues from other global markets as the Trump administration indefinitely suspended tariffs on all Mexican goods and data showed Chinas exports unexpectedly returned to growth in May despite higher U.S. tariffs. During the trading session benchmark BSE Sensex inched up by 0.4 percent to 39785.
