Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

U.S. stocks saw further upside during the last trading session. The major averages ended the day firmly in positive territory. The Dow Jones was up by 0.5% to 25628 and the Nasdaq jumped by 0.3% to 7883.

U.K. shares rose as rising commodity prices helped lift miners and energy firms offsetting some disappointing earnings updates from the likes of
Intertek Hargreaves and InterContinental Hotel Group. The benchmark FTSE 100 was up by 0.5% to 7704.

On domestic front Indian shares fluctuated in a narrow range on Tuesday before finishing little changed as the rupee hit a twoweek low against the dollar and oil prices rose following renewed U.S. sanctions on Iran. The BSE Sensex was down by 0.1% to 37666.
