Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
U.S. stocks moved mostly lower over the course of the trading day on Thursday extending the decline seen over the two previous sessions. The Nasdaq posted another significant loss although the Dow once again managed to close in positive territory. The Dow Jones inched up 0.1 percent to 25995 and the Nasdaq slumped 0.9 percent to 7922.
UK stocks were marginally higher on Thursday after opening on a subdued note earlier in the day. The FTSE 100 was down 0.6 percent at 7389.
On domestic front Indian stocks rebounded on Thursday as a sharp overnight fall in oil prices and the dollar weakness in international markets led to some short covering by traders. The BSE Sensex was up by 0.6% to 38243.Download Full Report
