U.S. stocks showed a significant turnaround over the course of the trading session after an initial move to the downside. The Dow Jones rose 1.4% to end at 28875. The NASDAQ gained 1.0% to close at 7331.
U.K. stocks ended in the green snapping a foursession slide as supermarket chains Tesco and Morrisons advanced and as last weeks selloff offered opportunities to investors. The FTSE 100 is up by 0.7% to end at 7116.
On domestic front Indian shares fell for a fourth straight session as weak global cues overshadowed the BJPs spectacular performance in recentlyheld elections in three North Eastern states. BSE Sensex is down by 0.9% to close at 33747.Download Full Report
