Indian markets are likely to open negative tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
U.S. stocks saw modest weakness during trading on Tuesday as traders returned to their desks following the long holiday weekend. The Dow Jones edged down 0.1 percent to 25952 and the Nasdaq dipped 0.2 percent to 8091.
UK stocks were little changed during the last trading session as mixed trading updates as well as economic data offset investor optimism over a softer pound and higher oil prices. The FTSE 100 was reamin flat at 7499.
