Is The Economy Slowing Down Expert Opinion

Podcast Duration: 04:35
नमस्कार मित्रो। एंजेल वन के इस podcast में आपका स्वागत है ।

Kissi bhi family gathering mein debate start karni ho toh Indian economy se acha subject aur koii nahi hai. Kuch log government ki side lete hai, toh kuch log sochte hai ki government ki jagah ve hote toh kya kamal kar diye hote. Par hume iss baat ka andaaza hai ki angel broking ke listeners active traders ya aspiring traders hai. Political debates se zyada interest aapko deep economic analysis mein hai.

Toh aaj ke podcast mein hum Indian economy ke baare mein charcha karenge. Firstly, we will investigate whether India’s economy has really slowed down. Secondly, we will look into the reasons for the same. Thirdly, we will see what steps the government has taken to improve India’s growth rate.

Experts economic slowdown ke reasons par toh disagree karte hai, lekin economic slowdown ho raha hai iss par sab agree karte hai. 2019 ke pehle quarter mein India ka GDP growth sirf 5% tha - ye 6 saal ka sabse lowest rate hai. 2018 ke pehle quarter mein growth rate 8% tha - aur 2016 ke pehle quarter mein 9%. Bas kuch hi saal pehle India duniya ki fastest growing economy thi. PM Narendra Modi ne World Economic Forum ke saamne ye daawa kiya tha ki India 2024 tak 5 trillion dollar economy banke dikhyega. Aaj kuch experts ka maan na hai iss goal ko achieve karne ke liye India ko 9% rate se grow karna padega...which is 4% more than India’s current rate.

Pichle saal August mein India ka unemployment rate 8.2% tha - an all-time high rate. Tripura aur Haryana jaise states mein unemployment rate 20% se zyada tha. Both economic growth and high unemployment rates can be tied back to the same factor: weak consumer demand.

Weak consumer demand ek bahut vicious cycle start karta hai. When people start consuming fewer goods and services, business owners stop expanding their businesses. Agar log koii product kam khareed rahe hai, aur pehli factory ka inventory poora clear nahi ho raha, toh koii bhi rational investor doosri factory start karne mein paisa nahi lagayega.

Infact, business owner factory mein production kam kar dega. Production ke kam hone se desh ka GDP kam hoga. Kam production ke liye kam workforce ki zaroor hogi - therefore business owners will start letting some people off.

This increases the unemployment rate. Par jab logo ka job security chala jaata hai, tab wo pehle se bhi kam goods and services consume karte hai. This further weakens the consumer demand - which can lead to more factories shutting down, leading to even more unemployment! Ye ek aisa downward spiral hai jisme bade-bade desh phas jaate hai.

Government ne economic slowdown ke problem ko solve karne ke liye kaafi strong steps uthaye hai. Jab pichle saal August mein unemployment rate apne all-time high par pahuncha, tab government ne socha: enough is enough. In the very next month of September, the government cut corporate taxes from 30% to 22%. Kaafi firms ke liye tax rates 25% se 15% kar diye gaye.

Iss se stock market mein toofan aa gaya: SENSEX aur NIFTY par biggest ever single-day jump dekhne ko mila. SENSEX ek hi din mein 2200 points se upar utha. Stock market gains se business investors ko business expansion ke liye funds mile, aur retail investors, jaise ki aap aur main, ko regular consumption increase karne ke liye extra disposable income mili.

Indian government infrastructural growth ke medium se bhi GDP growth badana chahti hai. China ke bhi high-growth years ka credit kaafi hadd tak Chinese construction boom ko jaata hai. By investing more than ₹1 trillion to make new roads, stations, factories, residential projects, ports and airports, the Indian government is hoping that India will start growing at higher rates again.

Inn measures ko dekh kuch experts ka maan na hai ki 2020 ke baad India ka growth rate improve hoga. But will the Indian economy grow at the rate of 9% anytime soon? Only time will tell.
