The company is engaged in activities of construction business and information techno ... logy activities. The shares of company i.e.20,29,800 equity shares of Rs.10/- got listed on Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE Ltd) through Direct Listing route and got the trading approval from BSE Ltd with effect from 23rd October, 2015. In order to improve liquidity of the Company's shares at Stock Exchanges and make it affordable to small investors, the Board of Directors of the Company, in their meeting held on 13th August, 2016 have approved sub-division of nominal value of Equity Shares of the Company of Rs.10/- each into smaller denomination of Re.1/- each, subject to approval of Members. The equity shareholders at their Annual General Meeting held on 30th September, 2016 passed an Ordinary Resolution for sub division of shares. Subsequently the shares of the Company were split on 22 October 2016. The Board of Directors at their Board Meeting held on 09th June 2018 considered a proposal for diversification into areas, which would be more profitable for company as a part of diversification plans. The Board of Directors thought it prudent to engage in construction business and Information technology activities. For this purpose the main object clause of the company, which was restricted only its scope of commodity trading and distribution was required to be so made out to cover a wide range of activities in the areas of Construction Business and Information Technology activities and accordingly the main object was changed. Accordingly the name of the Company was changed from Sinner Energy India Limited to Welcon International Limited and main object clause of the Company was altered to include the Object Clauses related to Construction business and Information Technology activities vide special resolution passed through postal ballot conducted pursuant to section 110 of the companies act, 2013, read with rule 22 of the companies (management and administration) rules, 2014.
