Chinese pharmaceutical company Fosun Pharma backed Gland Pharma will float an IPO offer of Rs 6000 crores. They have already received SEBI approval on the matter. The offer containing both primary and secondary shares might hit the market in November. Gland Pharma will be the first pharma company to make a debut in the bourses this year. Eris Lifescience was the last pharma company to list in the Indian exchanges three years ago.

In 2017, Singapore based Chinese pharmaceutical company Fosun pharma acquired 74 percent of the company.
