Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
The US stocks saw some volatility in afternoon trading on Tuesday but the major averages climbed to new record closing highs. The Dow surged up 1.1 percent to 23837 the Nasdaq climbed 0.5 percent to 6912 and the SP 500 jumped 1 percent to 2627.
The U.K. shares rose on Tuesday after all seven biggest lenders in UK passed the stress test for the first time since the test was launched in 2014. The benchmark FTSE 100 was up 1 percent at 7461. The Bank of England said that the 2017 stress test shows the U.K. banking system is resilient to deep simultaneous recessions in the U.K. and global economies large falls in asset prices and a separate stress of misconduct costs.
