Bajaj Finserv leads gainers in A group

Bajaj Finserv vaulted 8.81% to Rs 495.05 and topped the gainers in the BSEs A group. The company reported strong Q3 December 2011 results during market hours on 19 January 2012. On a consolidated basis, net profit rose 59.3% to Rs 170.06 crore on 55.2% rise in total income to Rs 825.57 crore in Q3 December 2011 over Q3 December 2010.

Tata Global Beverages surged 8.27% to Rs 119.15, extending seven-day 19.32% advance, and was the second biggest gainer in A group. The stock surged after the company early this week said it has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with Starbucks Coffee Company to open Starbucks caf�s across India.

CESC spurted 6.86% to Rs 269.45 and was the third biggest gainer in A group. The company declares its Q3 results on 13 February 2012. The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 2 February 2012, rising 24.27% compared with the Sensexs rise of 12.33%. The scrip, however, underperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 7.26% as against 0.19% decline in the Sensex

Sintex Industries gained 6.57% to Rs 98.10 and was fourth biggest gainer in A group. Foreign fund Emerging Markets Management Llc. A/C Emsaf (Mauritius) bought 16.07 lakh shares of the company at Rs 90.90 per share in a bulk deal on the NSE on Thursday, 2 February 2012.

JSW Ispat advanced 6.15% to Rs 14.15 and was fifth biggest gainer in A group. The company declares its Q3 results on 8 February 2012. The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 2 February 2012, rising 42.41% compared with the Sensexs rise of 12.33%. The scrip, however, underperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 0.45% as against 0.19% decline in the Sensex
